Faint Line Press was founded by me (Jason Lipeles) in 2022 with the wise counsel of danilo machado and Marcella Green. This poem by Frank O'Hara (below) is how it all started. It’s the first poem that made me cry. I named this press with danilo after we read this poem together. They liked the line: "the faint line of hair dividing your torso / gives my mind rest and emotions their release." I agree.
